Who is responsible

What we never see
What you write in your folder stays with you. The files are filled in on paper or on your own device. We have no access to them.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, country, what you bought and when.
- Payment details are handled by Whop, our payment partner. We do not receive or store your card number.
- Emails you send us.
- Basic technical data when you visit the site, such as pages viewed and the type of device.
Why we use it
- To deliver your files and answer your questions (performance of our contract with you).
- To keep accounting records and handle refunds (legal obligation).
- To understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising (legitimate interests, or your consent where the law requires it).
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the site: Whop (payment), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and advertising measurement tools. Most of them are in the United States. If you write to us from outside the United States, we rely on the safeguards recognized by your local data protection law.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as accounting rules require. Emails are kept for up to 3 years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and you can object to how we use it. Write to contact@thefamilyfolder.com. If you are in a state with its own privacy law, such as California, you have the rights that law gives you. If you are in the United Kingdom, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Emails
We send you the emails needed to deliver your order. Every other email has an unsubscribe link.
